Simple rules and fast games make her easy to learn. Conquer battlefields with cheap units to score, and stay ahead with cheap spells. You can start straight from the Proving Grounds box, which also contains Master Yi, a top Legend in Korea, for when you are ready to move to a tournament deck.

Kai'Sa's Legend adds an extra resource that can only pay for spells, so you can develop a unit and still cast Hextech Ray, Stupefy or Falling Star in the same turn. Darius, who readies when you play your second card in a turn, and Noxus Hopeful, cheaper once you have played another card, fit that pattern perfectly. From the mid game, Thousand-Tailed Watcher shrinks the enemy board to take battlefields, and Icathian Rain or Time Warp close the game.
Strengths
The most proven list in Korean events. Plenty of cheap spells give you options every turn.
Weaknesses
Everyone prepares for it, so opposing sideboards are aimed at you. Can be outmuscled by Aurora decks dropping huge units.
Won the 2026 GGX Cup (64 players) and Soopers Cup Season 2 (54). At the Origins Qualifier (200 players) it finished 2nd and took 6 of the Top 8 seats.

Good to know about the Korean format
The Korean format
Only Set 1 Origins and Proving Grounds cards are legal in Korea. Tournaments are best-of-three, with a sideboard of up to 10 cards to adjust the deck before games two and three. The same ban list as overseas applies.
Why overseas lists do not port over
The flagship overseas Origins lists for Annie, Miss Fortune, Teemo, Yasuo and Jinx mostly ran Stacked Deck and Fight or Flight, both now banned, along with five popular battlefields. The Korean format has therefore settled around Kai'Sa, barely touched by the bans, and the big-unit decks built on Dazzling Aurora.
